Since 2017, Supercap energy storage solutions have been deployed and tested around the world in some of the most remote and environmentally hostile locations proving out their very strong technical and operational benefits.  ACES recognized the major advancements of this technology and became the sole distributor of Kilowatt Labs supercapacitor energy storage solutions to U.S. FedGov agencies.

Supercaps are delivering real-world operational value to the Telecom industry where remote cell tower sites are off-grid and are powered by a combination of solar PV panels, generators, and lead-acid batteries. The lead-acid batteries were replaced with Supercaps which significantly reduced generator runtime due to their rapid recharge rate.
