Summary

Designs and develops SharePoint custom solutions for SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online Office 365 environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

These include the following but no limited to:

• Senior SharePoint Client-Side Developers who are experts in using the SPFX framework to build client-side solutions using the modern web stack and SharePoint Online 

• Automates business processes using modern client-side development approach.

• Analyzes performance of software interfaces and identifies alternatives for optimizing the use of computer resources.

• Applies generally accepted programming standards & techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.

• Acts as liaison with software vendors and technical experts, especially with regard to problem diagnosis and resolution.

• Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting SharePoint client-side solutions.

• Recommends selection, approval, and acquisition of hardware, software, networking components, and services.

• Installs, configures, and tests workstations with supporting hardware, software, and networking components.

• Provides assistance and routine consultation to users in the development of software solutions.

• Plans and executes software version upgrade releases and custom interfaces.

• Works with others to develop alternative system and software designs.

Technical Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be knowledgeable in SharePoint, Bootstrap, Fabric UI, HTML, and CSS.  An understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular is a plus.  The ability to apply design principles associated with Custom Forms, User Interfaces and overall User Experience also a plus.

Education and Certification

Bachelors degree in relevant field.

Security+, CISSP, Microsoft certifications and any other applicable computer and software development certifications are always appreciated.
